Getting the hang of blogging!

Forgive my inexperience!

I am learning to blog, learning to take pictures, leaning to log all our quilts, and most of all learning to follow Jesus on a daily basis.

I've always cherished this thought! "God does not call the qualified ~ He qualifies the called" Quilts of Comfort is Gods plan ~ and we are thrilled at where He is leading us!

I came across this photo today, a quilt we made in 2009 and wanted to share. My daughter and I selected the fabrics and created the angels wings ~

and here is our label that goes on each quilt.

I just love big blocky quilt patterns.....they let you see the beautiful fabrics so well.

And a Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms!

February's Gift of Love

Here is Quilts of Comforts most recent finished quilt!
Spring is just around the corner, and don't all those amazing large floral prints remind you of a beautiful flower garden? One of God's great reminders that He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Praying the receiver feels His love when she wraps up in this quilt.
This was a kit we purchased at Quilters Inn. We used a yellow minke on the back for more warmth and cuddles, and Christine quilted it on her long arm, an amazing job!

THANK YOU JANE!

A big thank you to Jane Lewis, owner of The Quilter's Inn Fabric Store in Danville, CA. (Jane is holding the cupcakes) Here is a pic of Christine, Judy and our newest member Chrissy presenting Jane with cupcakes on Valentines Day. Jane donated over 20 bolts of fabric to our Quilts of Comfort Ministry!

We don't have words to express how thankful we are for the fabric donations from The Quilters Inn. Quilts of Comfort is funded by generous donations like Jane's. Thank you again, Jane!

Don't ever pass up an opportunity to visit The Quilters Inn. Their logo is the pineapple ~ a symbol of hospitality. And you will feel it the minute you enter these doors because the women who work here are warm, friendly, helpful and inspirational. You will walk away with a happy heart, a mind full of new ideas, and an arm full of the most beautiful fabrics available on the market today!

Thank you again Jane, you are awesome! We have already assigned many of your fabric donations to the quilts we are in the process of making.
